We are Short Handed, a Canadian Pop Punk group smashing into the scene like no other band has. Taking a genre saturated with the same themes and sound, giving it a catchier, heavier, and more aggressive sound. Redefining a genre, that has been around for decades. 

A project destroyed by the Pandemic, Short Handed is rising like a Phoenix from the ashes, ready to claim their throne in the spotlight. Gathering the best local musicians in the genre, we are quickly gaining a following. After releasing our first single of the year “Say Something” fans have demanded more, and that's exactly what Short Handed has delivered, and then some. Quickly releasing a Pop Punk anthem “Karma” and followed up by a catchy chorus driven “35 to Life”. 

Taking over our city is just the start; we have our eyes set on the World.

Short Handed's debut album "35 to Life" is an explosive, high energy journey through their highs, lows and everything in-between over the past 35 years.

The album depicts exactly what their music embodies, fast, hard hitting and unforgettable Pop Punk. They have taken a nostalgic genre and flipped it upside down with that punchy and catchier Canadian sound. "Our band was always missing a member, jam sessions, photoshoots or even live performances, Short handed was an on-going joke turned band name. As Canadian's Hockey is in our blood and our album art was to reflect that" - Short Handed. 

Recorded and produced entirely from a home studio, the attention to detail is that of painting the home logo at centre ice. Singles such as "Say Something(2026)" and "Karma(2026)" left listeners demanding more.
